    • NO CLASSES ON CHRISTMAS- NEW YEARS WEEKS (Monday December 24- Friday January 4 2019) Classes will resume Monday January 07 2019 - Studio will offer Winter camps during Winter break

    • NO CLASSES DURING SPRING BREAK April 22-April 25 (following Guilford County Schools) - Studio will offer Spring camp during Spring break


    • Students are expected to come on time for classes - we will not allow students that arrive later than 15 min.

    • Students won't be able to attend class when arriving later than 15 minutes after the beginning of the scheduled class.

    • In case students arrive to the studio prior to the beginning of the class, all students are expected to wait in the waiting area until the art instructor invites the students in.

    • At the end of the class, students are expected to wait in the waiting area until authorized parents/caregivers arrive for pick up.

  • All family members, including siblings, and friends not registered to attend classes are only allowed in the waiting area while art classes are in progress (unless otherwise authorized by the Studio).

  • Registration Process:

    • An annual registration fee of $35 per family and a one-time PERMISSION FORM will be due at the time of enrollment and renewed annually during the school-year registration. This fee is not refundable or transferable. When you enroll your child, the annual registration fee and current month’s tuition are due immediately. Also, when you enroll your child, you are enrolling for the full school year.

    • Tuition is the same every month - calculated for 34-36 classes each school year for 9 months (some months may have 3 classes, other months 5 classes but tuition is fixed for same amount due by 1st class of the month)
      Classes fill up on a first-come, first-served basis.  

    • Class registration can be completed online, at the studio prior to the class or by calling the studio.  

    • The cost of materials/supplies is included in the class fee.

    • You may enroll in the school year program at any time in any class (prorated tuition will be calculated if needed), space permitting. Single classes may be available with 24 hour advance reservation, space permitting.

    • Artists should only be registered for classes that are age appropriate as indicated in the class description

  • Payment:

    • Full payment is due no later than the first day of class or camp/event.  Registration and tuition Payment can be completed through our secure online registration system, at the studio prior to the first day of class, or camp and also over the phone.

    • We accept cash, credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard & Discover). Please no checks.

    • Auto draft is available upon request at no additional charge. Please inform the Studio if you would like to sign up.

    • Any draft payment that is declined or any check that is returned is subject to a $25 service fee from Little Blank Canvas. Two declined drafts or returned checks will result in the loss of membership.

    • Registration fees, tuition, birthday party deposits, and summer fees are non-refundable. If the Owners or Office Managers feel there are unique circumstances, they will discuss with you the best way to resolve the situation.

    • A late fee of $15 will be charged if monthly payment is not received by the 10th day of the month - or 2nd class - and student won't be allowed in the classroom.

  • Full Classes:

    • If upon receipt of your registration a class is full, we will contact you to discuss alternatives such as placing your child on a waiting list, transfering your child to another age-appropriate class by giving you the opportunity to register for another class or refund your money.

  • Missed Classes / Withdrawals / Cancellations:

    • No refunds/pro-rations will be given for missed classes.  

    • In the event that your child misses a regularly scheduled class, please contact the Studio prior to the start of the scheduled class by phone or email. A make-up class will be available during the same week (missed classes are not transferable to friends and/or siblings)

    • Please note:  Any class that is missed without notice cannot be made up and no refund or credit will be given for that missed class.  

    • To formally withdraw and cancel your child’s enrollment before the end of the program, please notify the Studio IN WRITING OR BY EMAIL BY THE 20TH OF THE MONTH to cancel your enrollment for the following month. We do not offer any tuition refunds. Any unpaid balances will be due upon submission and/or receipt of your cancellation notice. 

  • The Studio reserves the right to cancel any class, Camp and event with less than 3 registered participants/students. In the rare event a class is cancelled due to lack of interest, we will either give you a refund or apply the class fee to another class at your option.

  • Allergies:

    • At Little Blank Canvas, we strive to provide a safe environment for all students. Parents/Guardians are responsible for informing the studio of any allergies or any medical conditions on the Permission Form, and promptly updating us if there are any changes to that information. ANY FOODS CONTAINING NUTS OR NUT INGREDIENTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

  • Clothing:

    • We will be painting, drawing, sculpturing and using really messy medium during our classes and events, and we encourage our students to take chances when creating art. The Studio provides aprons for all students but it is not mandatory. Children learn better when they feel comfortable to move and explore, so we recommed students to wear comfy play clothes and shoes that can get a bit (or a lot) of paint on it! 

  • Sick Policy:

    • At Little Blank Canvas, we share art supplies and creativity, and we would prefer to keep all germs away. In consideration for others kids and the staff, please refrain from sending your child to the studio when they are not feeling okay. We reserve the right to restrict admission or send a child home, when that child is ill or risks the health or well-being of other children and staff members. Please contact the studio to make special arrangements for a sick day make-up class.

  • Emergency Contact Information:

    • It is the sole responsibility of the Parent/Guardian to provide the Studio with current contact information for purposes of medical or non-medical emergencies, notifying us of any change in mailing address, telephone number, email address, medical information, authorized caregivers, and emergency contact information. 

  • Inclement Weather:

    • In the event of inclement weather, please call the Studio or check online on the studio website (www.littleblankcanvas.com) or our Facebook page for updates on Studio status. All classes missed due to weather will be made up during the same month. Tuition is non-refundable.

  • Returned Checks:

    • Any check returned for insufficient funds will be subject to a $25 fee, and other collection and attorney's fees as may be provided by law.

  • Little Blank Canvas policies are subject to change without notice.
