Service Description

When was the last time you did something just for you? Not for your family, not for your work, not because you “should.” Just… for you? This 4-week Art Journaling is a space to pause, breathe, and come back to yourself—through color, creativity, and simple, meaningful moments. This is not about being “good at art.” This is about allowing yourself to create again. Using a pocket-sized art journal, we’ll explore: -Color, shapes, textures, and intuitive marks -Simple mixed media techniques -Gentle prompts for self-reflection -Creative expression without pressure or perfection You’ll leave each session with pages that are not only beautiful—but meaningful. A therapeutic (but not clinical) space. This is not therapy, but it is deeply therapeutic. Grounded in the MAP approach, this workshop integrates: -Nervous system regulation -Emotional awareness through creative expression -The science of why creativity supports mental and physical wellbeing -Gentle reconnection to self—especially for women who spend so much time caring for others Research shows that creating art in a group setting can: -Reduce stress and anxiety -Support emotional regulation -Increase feelings of connection and belonging -Create a sense of renewal and fresh perspective This workshop is for you if: -You feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or constantly “on” -You crave a creative outlet but don’t know where to start -You miss having time for yourself -You want something relaxing, meaningful, and fun -You love the idea of making beautiful pages while also nurturing your inner world No experience needed. Just curiosity. Over 4 weeks, you’ll experience: -A calm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment -Guided creative exercises + free exploration -Simple techniques you can continue at home -A small group of women sharing the experience -A personal art journal that becomes your space for expression and reflection We’ll be working in a pocket-sized art journal, making it easy to take your creativity with you, build a sustainable, ongoing practice, keep your work personal and accessible All materials are simple, approachable, and designed to feel inspiring—not overwhelming - all supplies provided by the Studio. A note from Flavia: "I created this space because I see so many women—especially mothers—who are always giving, always holding, always doing. And somewhere along the way, they lose touch with themselves. This is your invitation to come back. Gently. Creatively. Without pressure."
